A TAP Air Portugal (Portugalia) Fokker 100, registration CS-TPC performing flight TP-1010 from Lisbon (Portugal) to Madrid,SP (Spain) with 97 passengers and 5 crew, was climbing through about 4000 feet out of Lisbon's runway 03 when the crew declared PAN PAN, PAN PAN, PAN PAN and requested an immediate return to Lisbon, the aircraft descended back onto 4000 feet. The crew subsequently reported they had an engine fire indication on the right hand engine (Tay 650), procedures had been applied and the fire indication had extinguished, and continued the return for a safe landing on runway 03, the aircraft vacated the runway and was checked by emergency services before continuing to the apron.

The flight was cancelled.
