A Shanghai Airlines Boeing 737-800, flight FM9391 from Shanghai to Changsha (China), was on approach to Changsha descending through about 2100 meters/6900 feet when the aircraft was hit by a bird. The crew continued the approach and landed safely in Changsha. The return flight FM-9392 had to be cancelled however. The airline said the aircraft received damage as result of a bird strike on approach to Changsha at 2100 meters.
