A Lufthansa Cityline Canadair CRJ-700, registration D-ACPO performing flight LH-35 from Bremen to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was descending towards Frankfurt when the right hand generator disengaged shortly followed by the left hand generator. The air driven generator (ADG) deployed and supplied the aircraft while the crew activated the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU). The generator of the APU subsequently took over electrical power supply. The crew continued for a safe landing in Frankfurt.

Germany's BFU reported in their monthly bulletin that the occurrence was rated a serious incident, an investigation has been opened.
