The airport was closed for about 70 minutes as result of the overrun until the aircraft was towed to the apron.
Taiwan's Aviation Safety Council rated the occurrence an accident and opened an investigation.
Following examination the incident aircraft was able to perform the return flight EF-28 with a delay of 4.5 hours.
No Metars and no local weather observations are available.
