An American Eagle Canadair CRJ-700, registration N505AE performing flight MQ-3419 from Atlanta,GA to New York La Guardia,NY (USA) with 54 passengers and 4 crew, was enroute at FL330 about 60nm westsouthwest of Raleigh/Durham,NC (USA) when the crew reported hydraulic problems and decided to divert to Raleigh. The aircraft entered a hold at 13,000 feet to burn off fuel and landed safely on Raleigh's runway 23R about 55 minutes after leaving FL330.

The airline reported the aircraft diverted due to an indication of a mechanical malfunction in the cockpit.
