An Air Canada Airbus A320-200, registration C-FKOJ performing flight AC-1072 from Denver,CO (USA) to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 92 passengers and 6 crew, was approaching Montreal, when upon selecting the gear down the crew received a hydraulic failure indication prompting the crew to go-around and work the relevant checklists. The aircraft landed safely about 30 minutes later and stopped on the runway.

The aircraft was towed off the runway about 20 minutes after landing.

The Canadian TSB reported a hdraulic cylinder driving the door of the left hand main gear as well as the Power Transfer Unit were replaced.
