A UTAir Boeing 737-500, registration VP-BXU performing flight UT-567 from Moscow Vnukovo to Perm (Russia) with 51 people on board, was on short final descending through 57 feet AGL at Perm at 14:29L (08:29Z) when the aircraft rolled to 21.5 degrees of bank angle. The crew corrected and continued for a safe landing.

Rosaviatsia reported, without mentioning the landing runway, the aircraft encountered a large roll to 21.5 degrees at 57.5 feet/17.5 meters AGL, winds were from 360 degrees at 6 meters/second (11.6 knots) gusting up to 10 meters/second (19.4 knots), visibility was 10km or more. An investigation has been opened.

The incident aircraft departed Perm one hour after landing for the return flight UT-568 to Moscow.

Perm offers a runway 03/21 of 3206 meters/10520 feet length.
