A replacement Ilyushin IL-96 registration RA-96011 reached Moscow with a delay of 10 hours.
Ural's Transport Investigation Office reported the aircraft diverted due to an oil indication on the left hand engine which suggested a possible oil leak.
Rosaviatsia reported the aircraft landed with 0.9 quarts of engine oil remaining, the engine was shut down only after landing. An engine oil leak in the engine was confirmed in post flight examination.
