A KLM Boeing 747-400, registration PH-BFN performing flight KL-566 (dep Apr 26th) from Nairobi (Kenya) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was on final approach to runway 06 descending through about 1000 feet when the crew went around reporting a problem with the flaps. The aircraft climbed to 3000 feet, positioned for another approach with the crew reporting the problem was solved and no assistance needed and landed safely on runway 06 at a normal speed about 20 minutes later.
