A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N699DL performing flight DL-2329 from Atlanta,GA to Seattle,WA (USA), was descending through 4000 feet on approach to Seattle's runway 34R when the crew reported problems with the flaps and entered a hold to work the checklists. After about 15 minutes the crew reported they were unable to solve the problem, requested emergency services on stand by and advised they expected a normal landing and anticipated to be able to taxi to the gate under own power. The aircraft landed safely on runway 34R at a higher than normal speed about 25 minutes entering the hold.

The incident aircraft was able to depart for the return flight DL-128 about 8 hours after landing.
