A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-DAS performing flight FR-8168 from London Stansted,EN (UK) to Katowice (Poland), was climbing out of Stansted Airport when the crew stopped the climb at FL250 due to the failure of the left (captain's) pitot system. The crew returned to Stansted Airport for a safe landing on runway 22 about 30 minutes later.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration EI-DAE reached Katowice with a delay of 90 minutes.
