An American Eagle Embraer ERJ-145, registration N663AR performing flight MQ-2964 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Peoria,IL (USA), struck a bird on departure from Dallas Ft. Worth's runway 17R, stopped the climb at 10,000 feet and returned to Dallas Ft. Worth for a safe landing on runway 18R about 12 minutes after departure.

The FAA reported the damage is being assessed.
