A Vueling Airbus A320-200, registration EC-KDG performing flight VY-8502 from Barcelona,SP (Spain) to Aalborg (Denmark), had just reached cruise level 380 about 10nm south of Toulouse (France) when the crew initiated an emergency descent (average rate of descent 3800 fpm) due to the loss of cabin pressure and diverted to Toulouse for a safe landing on runway 14R about 30 minutes later.

A passenger reported the first indication was an announcement "Cabin crew, rapid descent, rapid descent", the passenger believed this announcement was made "through an oxygen mask", the passenger oxygen masks however were not released. The aircraft landed in Toulouse a short time later.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration EC-LOB reached Aalborg with a delay of 6:15 hours.
