An AirAsia Airbus A320-200, registration 9M-AFE performing flight AK-720 from Singapore (Singapore) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), landed on Kuala Lumpur's runway 15 when upon touch down part of the cabin ceiling separated and fell onto the seats below. The aircraft rolled out without further incident. There were no injuries.

The airline reported a section of the cabin ceiling became loose and dislodged just as the aircraft was landing. The seats below that section were unoccupied, there were no injuries to passengers and crew.
