An Austrian Airlines Airbus A321-100, registration OE-LBA performing flight OS-462 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Vienna (Austria) with 91 passengers and 6 crew, was descending towards Vienna when the crew reported a hydraulic problem and stopped the descent at FL100 entering a hold to work the relevant checklists. The crew subsequently advised they would have no nosewheel steering and would need to be towed off the runway and requested a long final. The aircraft landed safely on Vienna's runway 16 about 45 minutes after entering the hold and was towed off the runway about 30 minutes after landing.

Austrianwings reported the crew advised emergency services they were also carrying 5 liters of hazardeous goods on board (liquid epoxy adhesives).
