A TAM Linhas Aereas Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MYG performing flight JJ-3747 from Manaus,AM to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil) with 132 passengers, was in the initial climb out of Manaus when the right hand engine (CFM56) ingested a bird prompting the crew to level off and return to Manaus for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure.

The airport confirmed the aircraft returned to Manaus after one of the engines was hit by a bird.
