A Skyline Express Airline Boeing 757-300, registration UR-SLB performing flight 4M-212 from Dusseldorf (Germany) to Antalya (Turkey), was accelerating for takeoff from Dusseldorf's runway 05R when the right hand engine (RB211) ingested a bird prompting the crew to reject takeoff at high speed (about 116 KIAS). The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

Ukraine's NBAAI reported V1 was 149 KIAS, when a medium to large size bird was ingested by the right hand engine, takeoff was rejected at 116 KIAS. A boroscopic engine inspection revealed damage to almost all stage 4 high pressue compressor blades, further operation of the engine was not possible.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Dusseldorf until Oct 4th 2025 before returning to service.
