The aircraft departed for the next rotation to Valencia,SP (Spain) as flight QS-1054. The aircraft departed for flight QS-1055 and landed in Prague without further incident.
Czechia's UZPLN reported the damage to the cargo door was only recorded in the tech log after landing in Prague. Ground personnel found damage (scratches, dents) in areas where no damage is permitted and grounded the aircraft. The aircraft manufacturer was involved. Only then the damage to the door L2 was discovered too.
The UZPLN stated it were bad decisions by the captain to not report the damage. The operator took corrective action by interviews with the captain regarding compliance with regulations and procedures in case of aircraft damage, and issued a safety bulletin.
