A Spirit Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration N631NK performing flight NK-332 from Philadelphia,PA (USA) to San Juan (Puerto Rico) with 115 people on board, was enroute at FL330 over the Atlantic Ocean about 150nm southwest of Bermuda (Bermuda) when the crew decided to divert to Bermuda reporting a fuel leak at the right hand wing tip. The aircraft initially maintained FL330 and landed safely on Bermuda's runway 12 about 30 minutes later with both engines running and vacated the runway. The crew requested emergency services to check the right wing tip and right engine for leaks, the crew shut both engines down. Emergency Services reported there was an obvious fuel leak from the right hand wing tip, the crew advised all their fuel pumps were off so no further leak should occur, emergency services confirmed the fuel leak was stopping. The crew started the left hand engine and taxied to the apron.

A replacement A320-200N registration N970NK continued the flight and reached San Juan with a delay of about 13 hours.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Bermuda until Apr 30th 2025, then positioned to Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA) and is still on the ground there 39 hours after landing in Fort Lauderdale.
