A LATAM Airbus A321-200, registration PT-MXO performing flight LA-3367 from Rio de Janeiro Galeao,RJ to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil), was climbing out of Galeao's runway 10 when a bird impacted the nose cone of the aircraft. The crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet and returned to Galeao for a safe landing on runway 15 about 12 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 29 hours, then positioned to Sao Paulo.
