A Lufthansa Airbus A319-100, registration D-AILA performing flight LH-2507 from Manchester,EN (UK) to Munich (Germany) with 107 people on board, was enroute at FL350 almost overhead London Heathrow,EN (UK) when the crew initiated a diversion to London Heathrow turning off the airway and subsequently descending. The aircraft landed on Heathrow's runway 27R about 30 minutes later.

The airline reported due to engine (CFM56) trouble over the British Channel the aircraft needed to divert to Heathrow.

The aircraft is still on the ground in London about 36 hours after landing.

On Jan 30th 2025 The Aviation Herald received information, that the crew received "THR LVR DISAGREE ENG1" and "TLA FAULT" messages prompting the crew to declare PAN PAN and to divert to London Heathrow. The messages disappeared during the descent at idle power.
