A Vladivostok Avia Tupolev TU-204, registration RA-64044 performing flight XF-4614 from Vladivostok to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Russia) with 97 passengers and 7 crew, was enroute at FL350 about 80 minutes into the flight when the #1 hydraulic system failed. The crew continued the flight towards Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for 40 minutes before the crew turned the aircraft around and returned to Vladivostok. The aircraft landed safely back about 4:15 hours after departure.

Rosaviatsia reported that the crew initially decided to continue the flight but received instruction to return to Vladivostok from the airline's dispatch about 40 minutes after the hydraulic failure occurred.
