A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BLZ performing flight PK-300 from Karachi to Islamabad (Pakistan), was climbing out of Karachi's runway 07R when the crew stopped the climb at FL070 and decided to return to Karachi reporting they could not retract their landing gear. The aircraft landed safely on runway 25L about 20 minutes after departure.

A replacement A320-200 registration AP-BMY reached Islamabad with a delay of about 3 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 10.5 hours after landing.
