An Aerostan Boeing 747-200 freighter, registration EX-47004 performing flight KW-816 from Karachi (Pakistan) to Dubai Al Maktoum (United Arab Emirates), was climbing out of Karachi's runwa 07R when the crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet after a bird had been ingested by one of the engines (CF6). The aircraft landed safely back on Karachi's runway 07R about 45 minutes after departure.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Karachi about 6 hours after landing.
