A Westjet Boeing 737-700, registration C-GWBJ performing flight WS-434 from Toronto,ON to Ottawa,ON (Canada) with 82 people on board, was reaching the top of descent towards Ottawa when the crew detected a fuel imbalance of about 1000 lbs. The crew actioned the relevant checklists, verified fuel quantities and requested priority. The aircraft landed safely in Ottawa about 20 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported the fuel cross feed valve was found stuck in the open position and the circuit breaker had popped. The circuit breaker was reset, tests showed no fault and the aircraft was returned to service.
