A Tajik Air Boeing 737-300, registration EY-444 performing flight 7J-627 from Dushanbe (Tajikistan) to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) with 135 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Dushanbe when the landing gear did not fully retract after being selected up. The crew entered a hold to work the relevant checklists, burned off fuel and returned to Dushanbe for a safe landing about 3.5 hours after departure.

A replacement Somon Air Boeing 737-300 registration EY-545 reached Moscow with a delay of 6 hours.

Russia's News Agency Ria reported the aircraft in question was a Tupolev TU-154M suffering a loss of cabin pressure with a lot of Russian media taking over that report, Tajikistan media and other Russian News Agencies like Interfax reported a Boeing 737-300.
