A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N550NW performing flight DL-927 from Jackson,WY to Atlanta,GA (USA) with 148 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL410 about 160nm northwest of St. Louis,MO (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to 10,000 feet due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft subsequently diverted to St. Louis for a safe landing about 35 minutes after leaving FL410.

A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration N690DL reached Atlanta with a delay of about 6 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in St. Louis about 22 hours after landing.

The FAA reported: "Delta Air Lines Flight 927 landed safely at St. Louis Lambert International Airport around 11:35 a.m. local time on Saturday, July 13, after the crew reported a possible pressurization issue. The Boeing 757-200 departed from Jackson Hole Airport in Wyoming and was originally heading to Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The FAA will investigate."
