A Malta Air Boeing 737-800 on behalf of Ryanair, registration 9H-QCC performing flight FR-7282 from Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain) to Muenster (Germany) with 189 people on board, was on final approach to Muenster's runway 07 when the crew initiated a go around at about 700 feet AGL due to a flaps problem. The aircraft entered a hold while working the checklists and preparing a landing at a higher speed, positioned for another approach to runway 07 and landed without further incident about 30 minutes after the go around.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Muenster for about 8.5 hours, then positioned to Manchester. The aircraft returned to service about 25 hours after landing in Muenster.
