The FAA reported: "United Airlines Flight 1816 landed safely at San Francisco International Airport around 7:35 a.m. local time on Thursday, March 14, after the crew reported a possible hydraulic issue. The Airbus A320 departed from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The FAA will investigate."
The airline reported the aircraft suffered a hydraulic leak, emergency services were on standby. A small amount of smoke was seen from the landing gear after landing, which is not unusual when hydraulic fluid comes in contact with the hot brakes.
