The aircraft landed safely on Karachi's runway 25L about 50 minutes later.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Karachi for about 4 hours, then continued the flight and reached Abu Dhabi with a delay of about 8 hours (including 2 hours late departure from Peshawar).

According to information The Aviation Herald received INS#3 failed in flight, INS#2 was inaccurate/intermittent, hence the crew decided to divert to Karachi to have this rectified. Maintenance in Karachi replaced INS#3, swapped INS#1 and INS#2 and replaced the INS control panel.
