An Oman Air Boeing 787-9, registration A4O-SC performing flight WY-144 from Milan Malpensa (Italy) to Muscat (Oman), was climbing out of Malpensa's runway 35R when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet reporting a cracked windshield. The aircraft returned to Milan for a safe landing on runway 35R about 30 minutes after departure.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Milan 5 days later.
