A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-900, registration N415DX performing flight DL-162 (dep Jan 4th) from Minneapolis,MN (USA) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was on final approach to Amsterdam's runway 18R when the crew initiated a go around from about 1100 feet reporting a landing gear problem. While positioning for another approach to runway 18C the crew advised they had no nose gear steering. The aircraft landed safely on runway 18C about 17 minutes after the go around.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Amsterdam about 58 hours after landing.
