A ISD Avia Canadair CRJ-200, registration UR-OAM performing flight ISD-2962 from Krasnodar to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia), was enroute near Donetsk when the crew received indication of dropping oil pressure and shut the engine down. The aircraft diverted to Donetsk for a safe landing.

Ukraine's Ministry of Transport reported in their monthly bulletin that the gear box was found destroyed. The engine has been removed from the aircraft and is being examined at the engine manufacturer.
