A Belavia Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration EW-528PA performing flight B2-784 from Istanbul (Turkey) to Minsk (Belarus), departed Istanbul's runway 17R and was later enroute at FL370 when the crew was informed debris of one of their tyres had been found on the departure runway. The crew continued the flight to Minsk, performed a low approach to about 900 feet AGL along Minsk's runway 31R to have the landing gear inspected from the ground. The aircraft entered a hold to prepare for the landing and landed safely on runway 31R about 30 minutes after the low approach and about 5:20 hours after departure from Istanbul. The aircraft became disabled on the runway and needed to be towed off the runway about 90 minutes after landing.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Minsk for about 20 hours before returning to service.
