A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BLC performing flight PK-264 from Sialkot to Lahore (Pakistan), was accelerating for takeoff from Sialkot's runway 22 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 160 knots over ground) and returned to the apron, where three tyres deflated.

The airline reported the aircraft, originating in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) had diverted to Sialkot due to inclement weather in Lahore. During takeoff to continue the flight to Lahore the aircraft suffered a bird strike prompting the takeoff to be rejected. The passengers were taken to Lahore by bus in the end.
