A UTAir Boeing 737-500, registration VQ-BPR performing flight UT-797 from Moscow Vnukovo (Russia) to Kiev Zhulhany (Ukraine), had safely landed on Zhulhany Airport's runway 08 and slowed to taxi speed when the nose wheel steering failed at about 10 knots. The crew stopped the aircraft on the runway, notified tower and upon instruction by tower shut the engines down. The aircraft was towed to the apron.
