The aircraft is still on the ground in Panama City about 12 hours after landing.
Passengers reported they were dropped off in Panama City with no LATAM staff around and left without information, apparently the captain had died.
The Aviation Herald learned that one of the captains on board had become incapacitated in flight and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The airline reported there were one captain and two first officers on board of the aircraft. The captain went to the toilet and never returned to the cockpit, cabin crew tried to resuscitate the captain until landing in Panama City.
