Delta B752 at Atlanta on Aug 2nd 2023, burst tyre on landing and evacuated

A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N676DL performing flight DL-1437 from Richmond,VA to Atlanta,GA (USA), landed on Atlanta's runway 09L but burst the after left hand main tyres and damaged at least one of the left forward tyres. Tower was just about to clear another aircraft to line up runway 09L when the tower interrupted and stated "disregard", then radioed "crash crews on their way! crash crews on their way!" The aircraft came to a stop on the runway, tower advised "Flames are visible", gear #1 was on fire. While emergency services were on their way to the runway the crew initiated an emergency evacuation via the right hand side. Emergency services upon arrival began to spray water towards the left main gear and left engine (PW2037). Runway 09L was closed.

Delta Airlines reported initial reports indicate one of the tyres blew upon landing and components of the gear were hot. Customers evacuated via emergency slides and were bussed to the terminal.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Atlanta about 13 hours after landing.
