An El AL Boeing 737-800, registration 4X-EKR performing flight LY-5133 from Tel Aviv (Israel) to Larnaca (Cyprus), landed on Larnaca's runway 22 but burst a tyre. The aircraft was unable to vacate the runway, about 30 minutes after landing the aircraft was towed to the apron.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 6 hours, then departed for the return flight and reached Tel Aviv with a delay of about 5 hours.
