A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N547US performing flight DL-2978 from Orlando,FL to Atlanta,GA (USA) with 193 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Orlando when the crew levelled briefly off at FL310 and decided to divert to Jacksonville,FL (USA) due to an engine (PW2037) oil problem. The aircraft landed safely on Jacksonville's runway 26 about 25 minutes after leaving FL310.

A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration N659DL reached Atlanta with a delay of about 3 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Jacksonville about 22 hours after landing.
