A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N754SW performing flight WN-2082 from Baltimore,MD to Louisville,KY (USA), was enroute at FL360 about 70nm southeast of Columbus,OH (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent levelling off at 10,000 feet about 6 minutes later (average rate of descent 4300fpm). The aircraft subsequently diverted to Columbus for a safe landing on runway 28L about 20 minutes later.

The airline reported the aircraft diverted due to an "apparent pressurization issue" in flight. There were no injuries.

A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration N425LV reached Louisville with a delay of about 3:10 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Columbus about 31 hours after landing.
