An Air Baltic Bombardier C-Series CS-300 on behalf of Swiss, registration YL-ABC performing flight LX-2251 from Budapest (Hungary) to Zurich (Switzerland), was climbing out of Budapest when the crew stopped the climb at FL180 advising of difficulties with their airspeed indications and queried ATC about their indicated airspeed, the controller had 250 KIAS indicated. The crew decided to divert to Vienna (Austria) where the aircraft landed on runway 34 without further incident about 35 minutes later.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 19 hours before returning to service.
