A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N6716C performing flight DL-604 from Cancun (Mexico) to Seattle,WA (USA), was climbing out of Cancun when the crew stopped the climb at FL130 due to an engine (PW2037) problem and decided to return to Cancun, where the aircraft landed safely about 30 minutes after departure.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Cancun about 19.5 hours after landing back.

According to Information The Aviation Herald received the engine is going to be replaced.
