The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT STRUCK A PIECE OF RUBBER ON DEPARTURE ROLL, ADBORTED DEPARTURE AND RETURNED TO GATE, LOS ANGELES, CA.", the damage was "UNKNOWN".
