A British Airways Airbus A320-200, registration G-EUYU performing flight BA-1480 from London Gatwick,EN to Glasgow,SC (UK), was descending towards Glasgow when the crew declared emergency reporting, they had problems getting fuel from one tank rendering the fuel in that tank unusable and leaving insufficient fuel available. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Glasgow's runway 23 about 20 minutes later and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about one hour, then departed for its next flight.
