A Wideroe de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration LN-WDM performing flight WF-313 from Sandefjord (Norway) to Copenhagen (Denmark), departed Torp on schedule and was enroute at FL250 about 80nm south of Sandefjord when the crew decided to return to Sandefjord after discovering that other than expected the aircraft had not been refueled. The aircraft landed safely in Sandefjord about 45 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about one hour, then departed again and reached Copenhagen with a delay of about 1.5 hours.

The airline reported due to a communication break down the aircraft had not been refueled although it should have been refueled. In the air the crew discovered that fact, they could have continued to Copenhagen, the fuel was sufficient, however, they would have needed to request priority to avoid delays (holding) due to traffic congestion at Copenhagen, and therefore decided to return.
