An Air India Boeing 777-300, registration VT-ALK performing flight AI-106 from Newark,NJ (USA) to Delhi (India) with about 330 people on board, was enroute at FL330 about 50nm northeast of Stockholm (Sweden) when the crew decided to divert to Stockholm due to a right hand engine (GE90) oil leak. The crew shut the engine down and landed safely on Stockholm's runway 01L about 35 minutes after leaving FL330.

India's DGCA reported an inspection of the aircraft after landing revealed oil exiting the drain mast of the right hand engine.
