A Darwin Airlines Saab 2000, registration HB-IZJ performing flight F7-155 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Geneva (Switzerland) with 19 passengers and 3 crew, was descending towards Geneva about 22nm southwest of the aerodrome when the crew declared emergency reporting an engine had been shut down. Air Traffic control stopped all traffic on Geneva's runway causing several aircraft to lose their departure time slots and require another general aviation priority (cracked windshield) to divert to France, an arriving line flight diverted to Zurich. The Saab 2000 landed safely on Geneva's runway 23 about 20 minutes later.

The Swiss BFU reported the aircraft actually encountered fuel filter problems on both engines. The occurrence was rated a serious incident and an investigation has been opened.
