A China Express Air Canadair CRJ-900, registration B-3298 performing flight G5-4064 from Hangzhou to Baotou (China), was climbing out of Hangzhou when the aircraft received a bird strike cracking one of the windshields prompting the crew to stop the climb at 1600 meters/5300 feet and return to Hangzhou for a safe landing on runway 06 about 90 minutes after departure.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Hangzhou about 36 hours after landing back.
