A replacement Boeing 757-300 registration D-ABON departed about 2 hours later and reached Fuerteventura with a delay of 130 minutes.
Passenger Cansitan Ayral reported the takeoff was rejected, the crew reported an engine fire indication. After the aircraft had reached the parking position the left hand engine's cowling was opened.
